Perfect Image

The booming technology scene, excellent transport links and friendly people are just some of the reasons that North Tyneside is a magnet for businesses.

North Tyneside specifically is a great location for us because we’ve got access to major roads, making it a very easy commuting spot for our people.

These benefits are not lost on Perfect Image, an IT solutions provider delivering cloud infrastructure, applications and data analytics helping their clients transform and optimise their businesses. With over 26 years of experience and 100 team members, the company operates at the cutting edge, delivering technological solutions to a wide range of businesses regionally and nationally.

For Craig McGeough, Talent Acquisition Lead, the company’s location on the bustling Cobalt Business Park grants Perfect Image access to all the benefits the region has to offer.

“I think that North Tyneside is great for a number of reasons. The North East as a wider entity benefits from three great universities within easy reach, a booming tech hub, and of course there’s the added benefit that we are a naturally friendly people. This helps with customer service and interactions; we also do a lot of consulting in our line of work and the friendliness of the people in the region is a great asset.

“North Tyneside specifically is a great location for us because we’ve got access to major roads, making it a very easy commuting spot for our people. In general, we’ve found that – compared to where we used to be in the city centre – being based here has opened us up to a bigger catchment area.”

Since moving to Cobalt, the business has benefitted from the excellent transport links that allow more than one million people easy access to the park within a 30-minute travel time. For Craig and the Perfect Image team, being just outside of the city centre provides the firm with the best of both worlds.

“There’s the obvious cost benefit, if you’re in the centre everything from food on a lunch break to letting premises is more expensive. We manage to get the benefits of being close to places like Newcastle and Sunderland, without having to face the drawbacks that would come with being based in the city centre.”
